I'm just a girl who wants to experience part's of this world that I have yet to know.
I grew up in the Midwest. I love big cities and the coast. Cooking is becoming a passion and I love red wine. If people watching were a sport I'd be the captain!

I'd like to do a little Couch Surfing this summer and then I'd be more than happy to open up mine for use if that all works out.

Right now I've really been into getting healthy by working out with the P90X program. I enjoy reading, writing, drinking red wine and dining at local restaurants. Food is one of the greatest parts of traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Vinyl Headlights, a great local band in Va Bch. I'm a fan of Ani DiFranco, The Counting Crows, Dashboard Confessionals, David Gray, Dido, Nickleback, Papa Roach, Seether, Stained, Switchfoot, The Verve, U2 and more...

I enjoy reading... lately a lot of James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks. There are a few from Robert Greene and Chuck Palahnuik that I've loved.

I've been a Grey's Anatomy fan for as long as I can remember. Recently Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, The Bachelor/Bachelorette... I usually watch it online though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple years back I went on a Safari in South Africa. It was amazing! My short stay there was not long enough and I plan to return there some day.
I've spent quite a bit of time in the Middle East with the Military. Dubai was actually quite nice. Doha has been a different experience.

The Caribbean was amazing! Flip Flops and sand... Who doesnt enjoy that!
