I lived in Berlin, Germany for the most part of my life. After I finished my physics studies, I travelled in Central America and settled in Marseille and Lyon (in France) for 4 years to do my PhD. Since 2017, I am in Brussels and work on technology policy at the EU.
In my spare time I enjoy dancing Swing/Lindy Hop (and a bit Tango Argentino). I am also interested in choir singing and guitar playing. I like the most kinds of sports, i.e. volleyball, swimming, skating, jogging, badminton, skiing etc.
I'm always in to explore the nightlife – may it be an electro club, opera show or jazz sessions – I like it all! Staying home and cook something together while discussing the current state of the earth is also nice.
Of course, I like to travel myself! If I don't have time, I'm used to invite friends or couchsurfers. Often this feels like traveling.
I visited 28 states (12.4%)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If someone needs a couch in Lyon. Just write me and I'll see how I can help you. I like to join Couchsurfing activities and I'm always up to join my couchsurfers to explore the city to help them making the most out their stay.
I already hosted different people. I made only positive experiences. I hope some friends are going to join me in hosting traveling people. :)
I try to be open minded as much as I can. This way I really have lot of interests (in no particular order):
Clubbing (awesome in Berlin), Tango Argentino, playing guitar, swimming, volleyball, skating, traveling (of course), computing, photographing, programming, singing, party with nice (new) friends, disputing about politics and about ideas for a better world, environmental protection, ...
Yes, I'm quite talkative. :p
- public policy
- lindy hop
- tango argentino
- german language
Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I only went couchsurfing after I hosted myself several times people of our community. When I traveled on my own, some people were so super kind to me. I've never expected so much from couchsurfing, but since then, I'm trying to give back. :)
