Join Couchsurfing to see Tudor’s full profile. It’s free!
Update 3rd April 2018: unfortunately we can't host anymore, since we're both out of town and, starting 26th April, we leave to South America, to start the journey of our lives. We will host as soon as we'll have a stable home, we promise :)
Hey dear couchsurfers!
We're Tudor and Crisa, from Bucharest, nice to meet you!
We're both very positive, friendly, open-minded and hugely oriented towards a healthy lifestyle and sport.
What interests us, apart from our sporty, active lifestyle, is spirituality.
We are good listeners, we look forward to hear your life story (if you feel like sharing it, of course).
We are both vegans since many years and we will very likely spoil you (if the free time will also be on our side) with nice vegan meals - so tasty and good looking that you'll maybe consider going veggie yourself :))
We look forward to having a nice unfiltered beer and a vegan meal with you, to go together for a run in the park across the street and to show you around Bucharest a bit - also subject to free time availability.
Important: if you have an incomplete profile you made in under 3 minutes, lack verification (it's expensive, right?), have no reviews and send a standard message starting with "hi" followed by 2 lines of boring, grammatically and semantically incoherent text to 100 people hoping to save the hostel money, please go away. If I'd own CS, I'd ban you. You don't belong here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everybody on CS writes they love meeting new people, it's a cliche I know. But we *really* like meeting new people, understanding their realities, learning from them, listening to what they have to say.
Things like Couchsurfing makes us still have just a tiny bit of faith that mankind will slowly steer towards consciousness.
We love doing: calisthenics, working out, salsa, running, cycling, mountain trips, listening to audio books, reading (especially on the beach).
More work-oriented - figuring ways to earn money without investing too much time, learning Spanish and German.
- organic food
- latin music
- rock climbing
- vegan food
- vegan cooking
- raw vegan

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: old and new Cuban (and Latin in general) music, all kinds of salsa and kizomba, hip-hop.
Movies: I'm not into anything depicting violence and negativity without a good reason (which can only be showing how crazy everything is in our world). I did watch all seasons of House of Cards, though. I'm into documentaries or movies about travelling, spirituality etc.
Books: mostly non-fiction (last great book read was Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. Also into motivational (audio) books - "Be obsessed or be average" was great, for example.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was born - the chance for us being born in the exact way we are (genetically) is really, really low :)
I found Swedish clients for Romanian-made windows, all by myself.
Trekked the Salkantay for 5 whole days and reached Machu Picchu eventually.
Got robbed in Bogota by 3 unprofessional idiots who only took 30 USD from me, even though I also had more money, 2 cards and a phone :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, just try to think your way into wisdom. You know, one can do just that! You don't need to be very smart, rich, from a loving family etc., nothing is very relevant for this. You can just decide, right now, that you're going to be a wise person, and you can do it, by just helping yourself. By reading, waking up one hour earlier, having understanding and compassion for others, and in general by just a little bit stepping out your comfort zone and (mental) conditioning.
Oh, and one more very important lesson - please, start right now to assume complete, no-comment responsibility, for anything you had or have, happened or happens to you, for your health, financial state, relationship state, family ties, physical appearance etc. etc. Just imagine for a moment: "all this is my sole responsibility, I made all this be or happen". It can sound depressing, but really it is not! It is the most empowering thing in the world. After this complete acceptance of responsibility, you can be and have anything you want, literally.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We will be friendly and attentive. We will be very happy to listen to you (and also to share our story and plans for the future). If you're into that, we can go for a good run in the park - possibly coupled with some open-air calisthenics, there are some bars in the park across the street.
We'll have good unfiltered beer in the house and most likely we'll cook something for you - vegan, of course.
