Overview
About Me
I'm an avid motorcyclist and planning as many trips as I possibly can. I'm currently leaving with a friend of mine to Alaska and back in July of 2016 for 5 weeks. My much better half supports my motorcycle addiction without requiring me to attend meetings! She is my rock, my smile and support system.
I'm not so partial to spending $20 a year to be "verified" by Couchsurfer, I would rather couchsurf and have those people verify me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Not having an unlimited budget and wanting to travel makes it necessary to be creative and Couchsurfing is one way. Additionally I love meeting and connecting with new people, often times making friendships for life all based on a chance encounter or in this case a couch encounter.
Right now I'm traveling on my motorcycle with one of my best friends but looking to do world travels with my much better half in the near future.
Interests
My family is my number one interest but I have to admit motorcycles are my passion. In fact anything on two wheels is great. I love tinkering and wrenching and fixing bikes. I find it enjoyable to learn as much as I can and get my hands dirty. I have been teaching motorcycle safety classes for almost ten years and get great joy in that.
I enjoy talking with people and learning about their lives, passions and adventures. I hope down the road I am the one people enjoy talking with and hearing about my past adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm horrible with music because I can never remember who sings this or the name of that song. I honestly like just about all music.
In the book category I'm partial to "The Four Agreements" and "The 4 Laws of Financial Prosperity". Maybe because they are small and to the point but both have helped me immensely.
This may come as a surprise but there are also many motorcycle related movies I enjoy from The Worlds Fastest Indian with Anthony Hopkins to Faster, Fastest, Long Way Round and Long Way Down.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't feel I have done anything amazing, that is far too big of an word. I have had some incredible journeys, learned from my elders and continue to strive for betterment of myself and continue to explore.
Teach, Learn, Share
Motorcycles.....I love sharing about the joy and passion of motorcycles. As I wrote above I have taught basic motorcycle safety for almost a decade and am passionate about helping others in any manner I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion and zeal for not only two wheeled fun but also life in general. I'm willing to help out and not just mooch a night or two of sleep at your place. I can also be that quiet person who just stopped in and is already gone, I just need to know what you are wanting in a Couchsurfer.
