ABOUT ME

I'm always looking for an adventure. At the moment I am studying the geographic information systems major at Metropolitan State Denver and am enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. I'm a big lover of music. I spend most of my time either listening to whatever music I can get my hands on or playing guitar. Music along with my friends and family have pretty much guided me to where I am today. I have traveled some but I'm always looking for my next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence * As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with persons * Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story * Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit * If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself * Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans * Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time * Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery * But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism * Be yourself * Especially do not feign affection * Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass * Take kindly to counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth * Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune * But do not stress yourself with imaginings * Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness * Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself * You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here * And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should * Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul * With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world * Be careful * Strive to be happy.

Interests

Since I was 13 my dad used to take me to guitar shops with him and to tell you the truth I despised getting dragged around. I am now incredibly grateful that he did take me to all those shops because it has shaped me as a musician and a person. I love to play the blues and acoustic guitar. I also play rock, classical and some folk music. Besides that i'm into the outdoors. I love long distance running and have been doing it since high school. Just this last November I ran a half marathon and hopefully will run a full marathon this upcoming summer. I also love camping with my friends. I'll pretty much use anything as an excuse to head up to the mountains for a day or two. Other than that I like to spend time with friends and family and live life to the utmost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Concerts are high on my list and seeing Tom Petty play and City & Colour play will be two of them I will never forget.
