About Me's always feel like a resume. You want people to think you're awesome, without speaking too highly of yourself.

So, I'm awesome, but not in a way where I think too highly of myself.

I'm a dog person, but cats are great, too! I (almost) adopted two kittens outside of my apartment in the States and I wanted to name them Muffin and Cupcake, because Cupcake was sweeter than Muffin. (haha, pun)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm traveling in Europe. I spent just over a month in Denmark, visiting friends in Copenhagen and Arhus, and going to Roskilde Festival. I have a 15 day Eurail pass, and I plan to use it from the 13th of July to the 28th. I am visiting a friend in Paris for a few days at the beginning, but then I will be traveling to Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw and Krakow, and Prague before returning back to Copenhagen and flying home.

Basically, I would prefer not to stay in hostels by myself in Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague. So, if you live in one of those places and have a couch or floor that I can crash on, I would be wicked appreciative. I'll cook breakfast!

I study theater, and it mostly consumes my life, but in my free time, I like to binge watch Netflix (I haven't finished Orange is the New Black; please don't ruin it), hang out with my friends, and chill outside when the weather permits.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My taste in music is really weird. I like most music that I come across. But, ideally, anything that feels like it should be played on a warm summer night, while you're cruising in a convertible with the top down. That's probably my jam.

I'm a sucker for Tom Hanks. And Tom Cruise, for that matter, though for different reasons. I like movie musicals, Disney princess movies, dramatic movies, action movies... Oh, have you seen Mad Max? If you haven't, you really should. I've seen it twice, in theaters. And that is a big deal because I don't go to theaters for movies.

By way of books, I really like young adult fiction. Easy, pleasant to read, quick reads. I also really enjoy reading plays.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I left home, by myself, to travel Europe for two months. That seems like a big deal. I held a really impressive internship in a huge regional theatre company in the States, but you haven't heard of it (not in a hipster I'm-cooler-than-you way, just that you really probably haven't, unless you're familiar with major outdoor theatres in the Midwest, which you really probably shouldn't be) and I wont bore you with the dirty details. But it was pretty damn cool, yo.

I totally love talking politics. We can talk politics all day and night, and I will love it. I love learning about other countries' political systems, and teaching people about my own.

If politics isn't your thing- and it isn't for a lot of people- we don't have to talk politics.

I'm pretty funny. I can share a laugh and a drink and I'll even cook breakfast.
