I am a college student with a growing interest in traveling the world! I hope that, after graduating, I will be able to spend some time exploring the world, learning languages, understanding other cultures, and most importantly, meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I hope to use this site to find places to surf while I travel. I'm still living at either my college dorm or my parents' house, so I don't have a place of my own to host yet. When I get my own place, I look forward to hosting other surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My dad is involved in the couchsurfing community and we have often hosted surfers in need of an emergency place to stay. I love meeting all the different people who come to stay at our house and am always asking my dad to pick up more couchsurfers!

Interests

Of course, I am interested in travel and foreign languages. I also like a lot of books and video games. I love studying linguistics and science, and hope to go to med school some day. I love dogs, bike riding, ice skating, and just relaxing with friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read whatever I can get my hands on, but I especially like fantasy. Sometimes I love nothing more than curling up with a cheesy 500-book-long epic fantasy series. I'm always looking for recommendations for new series!

Not much of a movie watcher, but I like a lot of animated movies, especially disney and miyazaki. Some of my favorite movies are Spirited Away, Princess and the Frog, Moulin Rouge, and The Muppets.

I sing along to whatever music is playing, but I especially like a lot of classic rock and ska. Some favorite bands include Streetlight Manifesto, the White Stripes, the Aquabats, and Electric Light Orchestra.

Sometimes while studying for neuro I think about the fact that there's a brain in my head and that's just THE COOLEST THING
