About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, explore, and enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I'm 21 (soon to be 22) recent collage graduate. I was born in a small town and I've spent my whole life in a small town (different towns) so a few short months ago I decided to pack up and move to New England. I didn't have any job prospects or even any living prospects, I just need a change of scenery. I'm still exploring and looking for all the hidden treasures my new town has to offer me.

I'm always game for an adventure. I'm pretty spontaneous and there's basically nothing I won't try once. I love people and I love intellectual discourse. I don't think I'm an expert at anything but a few of my passions are dancing, running, cooking, exploring, and making things.

PHILOSOPHY

I love being happy and everyone deserves to be happy. Everyone has had different life experiences that has made them who they are today and that can all change in a blink of an eye. Some people enjoy simplicity while others revel in the complex puzzle of nature. No one can judge and no one should. Happiness is a personal journey that no one deserves to be criticized for.

Music, Movies, and Books

This changes all the time, but I'll go with classic favorites of mine.
Books:
The Giver, Gathering Blue, The Little Prince, The Harry Potter series, The Mortal Instrument series, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hunger Game series

Movies:
The Bourne Trilogy, Dirty Dancing, Step Up, Daydream Nation, Scott Pilgrim Against the World

Music:
Everything. Country, Hip Hop, Rap, Jazz, Big Band, Pop, Rock, Grunge. Everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest things I've done is also one of the simplest and cheapest. I was apart of this urban explorers group for a short while and I participated in two different "races". It was a race where we competed for time but it was way cooler than that. One of them, the goal was to use your navigational skills to obtain certain hold punches that were located throughout the woods. The other one was an urban race, sort of like a scavenger hunt. You had to run around on foot and obtain evidence that you were on the places on the list. The trick was that you had to know the town's history pretty well to know what the places were.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I can teach, I suppose it depends on what you want to know. But I'll tell you what a couple of people of told me I taught them. How to let go of inhibitions. How to dance like no one's watching. How to be honest. How to talk to people. I cause none of these are tangible skills, but skills none-the-less.

I would love to learn anything and everything. Particularly right now I'm interested in woodworking or car fixing
