to live wholesome, healthy and happy with my love.
i'm sam wang, from melbourne but currently live with my partner, jacob, in copenhagen. we are a happy little duo that take trips every now and then. our last was to japan!
we love riding bikes, being in the outdoors, food and a large amount of it, friends, family and growing garden goodies.
jacob animates and i design textiles (weave and print) so there is always an obscene amount of messy art supplies around the house.
our aim in life is to live in the countryside, make things, contribute to the world, be happy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hoping to travel the world and meet people through couch surfing. we would be tidy, clean, happy and willing to make a meal or two. anything i suppose that would help out around the house.
we've only stayed with two people in japan but both were such lovely experiences!
good food, sweet wine and making anything. weaving! painting! baking and cooking. creating something from scratch.
- outdoor activities
Music, Movies, and Books
i love all music, mostly folk and reggae and soul and blues and hip hop and everything. i listen to tom waits all the way to beyonce, from joni mitchell to the fugees.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
when we danced at sunset in the middle of old cambodian ancient ruins. it was beautiful!
or when a little boy from nepal told me to buy books and teach poor children rather than give them my spare change.
or the first time i successfully made a triple layered cake (pretty incredible).
Teach, Learn, Share
practically - i can teach you how to weave or sew or knit or cook or bake or make a mean asian meal.
we could share travel stories and i suppose i'd like to make you laugh or smile.
