ABOUT ME

I'm a student at the University of Oregon, for the summer of 2012 I am studying abroad in Lecce, Italy. At the end of this time I plan on traveling to a few other places in Europe before I head back to the States. I'd like to see every where, there isn't anywhere at all I'd be disappointed to see.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a personal philosophy, but I like to keep in mind that "You never know just how much you actually don't know," everyone has something to teach and share that can radically change you point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm brand new to all of this and trying to figure it out on a crappy internet connection in the south of Italy, but as soon as I get back home and move into my new house next door to the UO my couch is open for surfing :)

Not to be cliche, but I'm obsessed with Harry Potter. My best friend and I have matching Deathly Hallows tattoos, beneath her's it says "Expecto" and under mine "Patronum"

I love books and music of all types, my most recently read book was Fahrenheit 451

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm mainly awestruck by the kindness of the intriguing people I meet abroad. I love to see new things and realize how different they are than I've ever imagined them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook pretty much anything you can think of, baking is my forte. I'm obsessed with chickens and will be raising two from chicks here soon!
