CURRENT MISSION
Worry less, giggle more.
ABOUT ME
I'm a student studying Political Science and Religious Studies at the University of Oregon. My friends would say that I talk a lot and smile even more.
PHILOSOPHY
"To laugh often and much: To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a house with 5 girls, one bathroom, and no dish washer so I spend a lot of time at my boyfriend, Aj's house. Aj has hosted many surfers since I've met him and I've had the pleasure of tagging along. I hope to have many more experiences like this and eventually host in my own home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was introduced to Couch Surfing by my best friend and boyfriend. I was intimidated at first but was pleasantly surprised by spirit and generosity of every surfer I've met. There's something about the type of person who is willing and wanting to be a part of the CS community. I've learned a lot so far and hope to be more like the members I've been introduced to.
Interests
People are my passion and my family is my life. I enjoy staying active, volunteering, and going out. Right now I'm living it up as an optimistic young adult so I tend to do a lot of young adult things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like movies and books about personal growth. Kind of like "The Pursuit of Happyness" or "How to Win Friends and Influence People". I listen to a lot of folk pop and modern jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everything I've done is amazing. I appreciate the small things because they become the big things. Short encounters with people consistently change my perspective on things.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are things that I know but have difficulty practicing. I want to be better at these things and I hope CS can teach me how- 1. To live in the present moment, not the past or especially the future. 2. To not fear failure 3. To reach beyond the goals I know I can do. 4. To make decisions rather than excuses. 5. To treat and accept every person I meet as a friend.
Brick walls are there to keep out those who don't want it badly enough and to prove to you how important it is.
