I was tired of dreaming about traveling but not having the time to do it, so my husband (Greg) and I quit our insurance jobs in Chicago, Illinois and sold everything we owned (including a really cool 1969 VW Bug) to travel the world and have an adventure! We love meeting new people and sharing travel stories, preferably while eating good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up with a friend many years ago and forgot about it, but we met a cool gal in Guatemala who has been Couchsurfing for 3 years straight, and she insisted we give it a try. We really just want to meet fun people and build friendships all over the world. Let's share stories and travel tips, and have some laughs!
