Hej! My name is Samin or you could just call me Sam. I'm currently enjoying my exchange student life in Stockholm! I am a really spunky and energetic, outgoing person. I love to travel all around world. My goal was to visit every single country in Europe during my stay in Sweden, but it seems like it was little bit too much! Anyway I am still so eager to meet up people from all over the world. I also love to dance! I really love watching choreographies and dances thru You-tube. And of course I enjoy dancing as well. I'm also interested in different languages and culture. I major English Interpretation and Translation in my home university, so I am really into learning new languages! I studied Chinese and Swedish, but still I have a long long way to go...Anyway this would be pretty much all about me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfing is a very good opportunity for people like me to meet up new people in new places! Actually I recently knew about couchsurfing from my friend, so now I am trying to go for it. My friend recommended me that it is a really nice opportunity to meet new people in the places where I travel, cause I can actually hang around with them! So I thought it would be really cool to actually stay in their rooms and have a nice time with them. So while I can travel many different countries in Europe, I really don't want to lose this kind of chance!

Interests

Actually, I've already wrote all about in the above. But to say it again, I love traveling, dancing and I also love to take photos. Ever since I was very little, I realized that I'm not a person who could stay in-doors for several days. I just can't bare it! So traveling is a perfect thing for me to do. Also I like sports and best of all, I love dancing. Well if you are a professiona dancer or something, you might think(or should think) that I'm not a pretty good dancer. But anyway, it's been my hobby for 4 years. I've joined the school dance club and performed as well. I also like to watch videos of dancing choreographies. Lastly, I like taking pictures! I don't usually take selfies personally, but I want to keep the memories and the moments forever. I think photos are something similar to time machines, cause that's the only thing that we can preserve the past until now and to the future. That's why I like taking pictres of the beatiful sceneries that I see, whenever I hang around with my friends and of course..! I want to take pictures with you!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music: I just like to listen to music. Earphones are essentials for me! I usually listen to K -pop and sometimes just pop musics as well, and any kind of music that fits in to my current mood!

Movies: Pride and Prjudice! I can't count how many times I've watched it.

Books: Anne of Green Gables. . ? (Quite old-fasioned haha)..actually I don't really have a particular favorite book. But I do really used to like this book when I was little.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was participating in the school dancing club, I performed serveral times with my crew. It really feels amazing when I am actually performing in front of the huge crowd. It's really a few minutes, but it's quite hard to explain, but a lot of thoghts, feelings pop up in my mind at that moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course since I'm Korean I can teach Korean! Also if you are interested I can teach you some moves from some dance songs. Last but not least, I want to share the moments during my travel with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Teach Korean if they're interested, teach dances and also if they're interested to try, serve Korean food! (Though I really want to warn you, I am not talented in cooking...)
