About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to see as many countries with my kids as I can!
ABOUT ME
My first international travel experience was when I went to visit my dad's cousin in Mexico City when I was 15. Since then I have traveled back to Mexico, lived in Colombia, Costa Rica, visited Ecuador, as well as other Central American Countries.
I speak Spanish and have always wanted to learn Italian and Portuguese.
I love learning about other cultures and meeting people from around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
this is a cool quote that I heard the other day (I think by Aristotle) It's easy to avoid criticism. Do nothing, say nothing, be nothing. That woke me up a bit!
In general I believe people are good and that we are all striving to feel connected and accepted by one another. We want to feel connected to something greater than ourselves. I think life is about expanding our minds and understanding that there are many ways to think and live, and this is the wonder of humanity!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't gone couch surfing since I've had kids. But when I was 18 and back packing in Colombia and Ecuador I had a wonderful time meeting a very kind family who offered me their home in Otavalo, Ecuador, as well a wonderful family in Cali, Colombia.
