ABOUT ME

I am 47 and happily settled in Brighton, England. I have travelled extensively with my hobby, paragliding. I work creatively with learning disabled students, DJ in Brighton, UK and worldwide, and do house removal work to keep fit. I love Brighton, it's great place to live; the quality of life here is great. In the mornings in the summer I swim in the sea, walk on the downs above the town, and drink in my friends' pubs in the evening.

PHILOSOPHY

In 2010 I was lucky to find the right place and the right people to get the balance right. I have four jobs, am very busy and I have never been happier. Philospophy; (from Fight Club this,) 'Let that which does not matter truly slide..'. And there is a lot which does not matter, believe me..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a house in Slovenia, at the foot of the Juliana Alps. I would love to host other surfers, but I will not put it up yet in the host section as I still have a little renovation work to do. If anyone hosts me, I will be delighted to return host them, once the work is done.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many. One time I stayed in the house of the beekeeper in Kullu, India. I shared my room with 2 thousand bees..

Interests

I fly paragliders, DJ around the world a little, work creatively with learning disabled people, and love conversation! I play guitar, speak 3 languages, and I'm always keen to learn more from all sources

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh man, how many great movies and books!! Right now I'm reading astronaut Chris Hadfield's book 'An Astronauts Guide to Life on Earth'. millions of favourites; books, Lord of the Flies, Perfume, Cider with Rosie, Life and Death in Shanghai etc, etc. Films; Brazil, Amadeus, Scarface etc. Music; I have been playing, studying. collecting and commenting on music for 35 years: I love it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have flown my paraglider above the Karakorum Highway in Pakistan, broken my shoulder in Slovenia and fell in love with the nurse who treated me, crawled across black glaciers and nearly got crushed under boulders the size of cars. I have learned to wakeboard at night in Mexico, with phosphorescent water and dolphins beside me. I have Djed to sikhs in Mumbai, children in my local pub, party people at festivals all over. And a lot more.
