PHILOSOPHY

I really enjoy my profession. I get to wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise over and infinite ocean and at night I get watch it set again. A night at sea on a new moon and a clear night is another reason why I keep getting drawn back to sea.

Music, Movies, and Books

Avid reader, I usually go on binges of particular authors or genres. My all time favorites include: Joseph Conrad, Jack London, John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, T.S. Elliot and Herman Melville. I have also read a lot of Hemingway but I don't always enjoy his work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing... When I was at the Academy I worked about a military transport vessel delivering Cargo to Iraq, Kuwait and Pakistan. This was one of the most unique experience of my life. I am not sure that it is amazing though.
