ABOUT ME

I'm a recent high school graduate from Des Moines, Iowa taking a gap year before going to college. I'm looking to experience moving to a completely strange city where I don't know anyone, as part of my gap year experience.

I'm writing a novel and make music from time to time. I also have a podcast in the works.

Life is too short for not working on the things you love, or being with the ones you love for that matter.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of folk music, as well as hip hop and many other things. I'm very good at finding an artist someone would like but they may never have heard of.

I watch a lot of unique romance movies, such as Badlands, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Punch Drunk Love, and more.

My very favorite author is Carson McCullers and I highly recommend you at least read her book The Heart is a Lonely Hunter in your lifetime.
