About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world to help with inspiration

ABOUT ME

I am an animator, filmmaker, and photographer currently living in Boston, MA, USA. I have lived here for 6 years and feel it is nearing time for a change. Before that, though, I want to see more of the world.

At any time, I am working on 1-3 short films for my own art. I enjoy writing and creating the worlds which my films exist in. I love how intricately I can produce not just my animations, but films and photography as well.

I am also a bartender and I host a terribly hilarious live webshow every week called McCrackenOnMondays. I also love to play music and talk about everything.

I am looking forward to traveling, sharing my art with the people I meet, and being inspired by them and the places I visit.

PHILOSOPHY

Being the age I am, I am learning a lot, and that's all I want to do. My mind is open to whatever the world and life has to offer. I don't want to have to look too far ahead. I want to just see what happens and mold my life around that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think people opening their homes to traveling strangers is a selfless act of neighborly kindness. In traveling, I want to learn how other people live: working the way they do, eating and drinking the way they do, and socializing in whatever way they most like to do. I just want to learn how you live.

Unfortunately, I cannot host. However, I still like meeting people and would love to show you around Boston and get some food with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I haven't done any couchsurfing as I have hardly traveled at all. However, I hope all my experiences can be good ones.

I have, however, met many people that have been staying at peoples homes here in Boston. Each person is different and has different expectations or personalities. However, all of them have seemed eager to meet people and learn about where they were. I hope that I can have the same experiences they did.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some skills. Most are not so impressive to me, but may be so to others. I am very good with computers and working with my hands (fixing things, wood working, etc.). I am a bartender and a waiter, so I know a bit about food and alcohol. I am also an artist in photography and film. That is my greatest talent.

I am, however, extremely receptive to learning new things and skills! Whatever anyone may have to offer, whether it be rock climbing, wind surfing, or just the right way to scrub a floor, I want to learn.
