About Me

I heard so much about Courchsurfing, but was always kind of hesitant to tryit out. Then a special situation made me need a place urgently and I met a great host (by the way: I really don't know why his reference doesn't appear in my profile - technical problems, I guess). Since then I'm convinced that Couchsrfing is a great way to traval and get to know new people.
What else? I'm a rather quite person but try to stay open-minded for new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard so much about it and learned that's an amazing way to travel.

Interests

I've danced ballet since I was a little girl and the passion for it is as strong as it ever was. I've never been a professional, but when I dance the whole world seems to vanish and that's why I love it so much.
Of course I love books, movies and TV shows, hanging out with friends and discussing them, but that's not sometime extraordinary, is it?

  • dancing
  • ballet dancing
  • reading books
  • discovering new places
  • watch movies
  • singing to old pop songs

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movie: Inception (but there are so many other amazing movies and the list of those, I still wanna watch, is endless...)
Favorite Book. by the German author Walter Moers - Rumo
Favorite Music: depends too much on the mood in order to pick something right now

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not something I've really done my myself, but I had the good luck to see one of the most famous German Rock Bands at a private concert: Die Toten Hosen.
A one-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never ever forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: hmmm - German? If anyone is interested... ;) / Some basic ballet steps ;)
Learn: everything! There is a saying that I learned from my parents, which translates more or less to: one can grow old as a cow and still learn new things (in German it rhymes ;) - although I think cows don't get THAT old...)
Share: during my studies I lived abroad and traveled quite a bit, so I can for sure share some stories.
