About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to enjoy life and travel around as much as possible.
ABOUT ME
Why telling you too much about myself before we have even met? I have just finished my bachelor and been to Finland for five month in fall 2013. This is when I realized that travelling around countries means a lot to me and tells me more about life than studies will ever do. That is why I decided to take a gap year between my bachelor and master studies to do internships in my study field psychology and travel around Germany and of course the world. And here I go! After seeing Japan during 2014 which was an amazing time, I am now in my masters but still hungry to travel... :) My newest challenge: the US! I am coming for you from March!
I am an energetic person who loves new challenges. My value is it to make everyday special and just awesome - smiling included.
PHILOSOPHY
Freedom means responsibility.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
visited 14 states (6.22%)Create your own visited map of The World or Triposo world travel guide for Android
Unfortunately, I cannot offer a couch myself at the moment. I have made some experiences which surfing couches though. Moreover I will involve in discussions or questions about travels I have already made or places I have already visited or lived in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have participated in my first couch surfing meeting in York and I really appreciated the atmosphere there. It is like an old-friends'-meeting though most people see each other for the first time. Additionally, lots of my friends are involved in Couchsurfing and report funny stories and great adventures. Though I haven't got much experience yet myself, I am eager to try :)

Music, Movies, and Books
- Nothing is better than watching Ted talks treating psychology issues on a rainy day!
- Watch out - an American serial nerd here!
- I love everything that can be played with only one guitar or piano. But I have to say that good electro dance music or a cute Disney sing-a-long-song can catch me the same way - I just love listening to music as long as there is heart and soul in it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Swimming in the Arctic Ocean
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always open to learn new things :) I have tried to study a couple of languages like Japanese, Finnish, French or Latin but I can never get enough of new words or opportunities to share my knowledge. As I am a little neuroscience nerd (because of my profession), we can have great talks about how the brain works and what we can actually do with that knowledge.
But I am also in for sharing travel experiences, get to know new people or my newest hobby: cook as clean as possible. Meaning: Take the ingredients as "raw" as you can get them and try to make everything by yourself (like your own muesli or sauces or whatever I have in mind).
