Overview
About Me
I grew up with 4 brothers and 1 sister in a small town.
My father immigrated from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) . Growing up with 2 cultural influences i early began to realise that i want to see the world and more cultures.
Learning new skills is one of my favourite ways to spend time, just behind teaching those skills.
I want to get to know the world especially all the fantastic people on it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When i first heard of Couchsurfing i was immediately hooked. Until now i didn´t get a good chance to use it, but i hope i can change that soon.
The chance to meet people from all over the world and to expand my horizons is the major point why i want to use couchsurfing from now on.
I can´t neglect the fact that you can see the parts of cities and countries only inhabitants know, which is important for me to get to know the real culture of these countries.

Music, Movies, and Books
There is not much music i don´t listen to so it´s kind of hard to tell what my favourites are. I choose music depending on the situation and on my mood and I love to be shown new genres or artists.
Pretty much the same goes for my favourite movies. I like movies you have to think about and keep spooking in your head for a long time e.g. "Inception". But i give anything a shoot.
I´m often spending my evenings reading and when i do i usually read fantasy novels. My favourites where among the bestsellers when i first read them, like "The inheritance Cycle" "Mortal Instruments" "Harry Potter" and " The Hunger Games".
Recently I started reading a bunch of nonfiction books mostly about social science and philosophy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing face to face with a big tree snake in the middle of the jungle, just before climbing and jumping off a small waterfall, is definitely an experience I hold precious. But there are so many more
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some (acro)yoga. I make macramè necklaces and other small things and I'm happy to share my knowledge
When it comes to learning i behave like a sponge. I try to learn as much as possible and i really enjoy learning in conversations. On my travels i especially want to learn about different cultures and their arts and crafts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My positive attitude and an always honest smile are the first things coming to my mind.
