I am 19 years old. I am currently taking a gap year after high school to work and travel. I work at a coffee shop as a barista, so I have some knowledge about coffee. I plan on studying when the new semester begins. I love watching football in my spare time, and one of the reasons I want to travel is because I have never been to a match, and I would like to watch my favorite team play.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to complete my plan of traveling by train through several European countries. Couchsurfing is a great way to travel and meet people at the same time.

I listen to a lot of different music, including Bastille, Alt-J, and even Thirty Seconds to Mars. It varies a lot.
Favorite movies include The Shining, Shutter Island (and generally psychological thrillers).
One of my favorite books is The Shining, another is 1984.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the highest mountain in Norway, even though I'm not particularly athletic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach other people about Norway, for example the culture and the language.
I want to learn about other cultures. I haven't travelled a lot in the past, and that is one of the main reasons as to why I took a year off after high school.
