Hi!!
My name's Sara, I'm 24 and I'm from Italy. I grew up in the Tuscany countryside, in a village between Florence and Arezzo. I have two sisters and I'm the middle one!
Thanks to my elder sister, I'm an aunty of two beautiful kids (a girl and a boy).
When I was 18, after I graduate from high school, I decided to move to London to improve the language, get independent and start traveling the world.. I lived there for 3 years, working in a Coffee Shop (as you probably know, Italians are coffee addicted and most of us cannot go through a day without it!). Unfortunately that job didn't allow me to save enough for hitting the road so I decided to go back home. I lived there for the next 2 years, working as a waitress between March and November and travelling for the rest of the year with the money I was able to save.

I deeply love animals and I always had pets at home. My life's goal is to work in animal care and welfare projects to have the opportunity to not only live with them; to play, learn and grow with them, but also to evolutionise with them.
Here's the reason why I decided to commit to a vegan life style after I've been vegetarian since I was 17. And this leads to another thing I'm passionate about: cooking, baking and experiment vegan recipes from all over the world!

I love meeting new people and spend my time with them, getting to know their stories, their life's projects or simply their point of views..
I also love spending time in the nature, camping, walking or just swinging on an hammok, reading a good book or listening to music!

My on going goals are getting into yoga and meditation and start playing guitar (I tried when I was little but I couldn't be patient enough!! :/ )

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new and interesting people, seek adventures, learn about various cultures, get to know and share fascinating stories and habilities!
I wanna discover the world as a traveler and not as a tourist...

Some of them: Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Into the Wild, Samsara, Wild, Dallas Buyers Club, Birdman, Mulholland Drive, The Little Prince, On the Road and many others!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent amazing thing I've done has been being brave to leave my hometown, my family, my friends and my comfort zone for a solo backpacking travel for un undefined time!!

Then if we count unusual things I can list:
1. Bush Camping in Laos after walking for 60 km
2. Getting lost in a Thai forest where wild Elephants live
3. Feeding, Bathing and Taking Care of Elephants in Thailand
4. Helping Thai locals to plant trees
5. Snorkeling in the Andaman Sea and in Siam Gulf
6. Adopting a Vegan Lifestyle
