Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurer with a thirst for knowledge. I want to see the world, but I also want to share my knowledge with others. I especially like languages (English and Spanish are my teaching areas), and I hope to learn a lot more throughout my life. I enjoy rainy days, hot cocoa, and old books, or any combination thereof.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone is interesting. Everyone has a story to tell. Every place is unique. Every place is beautiful. Every moment matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and (when I have my own place) help others travel. I'm a bit shy, so I hope to use this to help (read: force) me get over that.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite books: The Count of Monte Cristo (Alexandre Dumas), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Dr. Seuss), Thirteen Reasons Why (Jay Asher), and Speak (Laurie Halse Anderson).
Well, those are just a few, anyway...
I can't really say I have a favorite movie... I like Soundtracks more than anything. Especially Disney :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I can offer good conversation on a lot of topics, and I am always willing to cook a couple meals to share with my host.
I can teach English or Spanish (or help people practice either), and I can teach almost anything related to what is commonly referred to as home economics (think knitting, sewing, crochet, etc) although I'm still working on learning embroidery. I have a fair amount of knowledge on healthful living considering my background, and I can share my experiences from traveling.
I am always willing to learn new things, and share what I have already learned in my life. I have a policy of being a life-long learner, and I trying to be the type of person that never turns down the opportunity to try something new.
