I am a retired K-12 teacher from the US with a Masters degree in Education. Over the last two years, I taught English in China, Malaysia, and Cambodia. As well as traveled all around Asia. Recently, I taught English in a Workaway in Brazil and Ecuador. Currently, I am teaching English in Colombia. I love to teach, to create innovative/effective lessons and believe strongly that education should be available to everyone! I also love to cook and explore nature.

I am traveling all over South America, living out of my backpack with no fixed schedule. I grew up around the world so, I feel at home most anywhere and love experiencing different cultures. Everywhere I go, I enjoy meeting people, sharing stories, music, food, and drinks. I am very flexible, patient, kind, and can speak some Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many young people have recommended it to me as I love traveling and meeting people but, don't have much money.
