Overview
About Me
Raised in Florida/Georgia, I escaped the Deep South and got as far as I could to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love Seattle for its art, architecture, healthy attitude, and adventurous outlook. The food is pretty decent too. :)
I'm a laidback, relaxed traveler. I don't like to rush or try to cram a million things into my day, although I usually keep a checklist for "guidelines" purposes. I'm always open to new experiences, especially if it gets me out of my comfort zone, and learning about new cultures. I want to see from your perspective and get a glimpse into your world.
I'm happy to share my passions, too. I'm currently studying Gemology, training for a marathon, and learning Italian for our Tuscan honeymoon later this year. I love art history, architecture, trying new recipes, travel sketching, writing, running, poetry, happy chickens, pizza every day, red wine and dark beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Study abroad in Provence (Lacoste, France) changed my life! The village was so small, it didn't allow cars, and housed only 60 villagers. I loved it so much, I went back for a second quarter and have loved traveling abroad ever since. We visited bigger cities like Paris, Avignon, and Angouleme, but the best trips were to all the little countryside towns. I've visited London (for a weekend) and traveled around Italy a bit - all the main tourists areas plus Cinque Terre and small towns like Lucca.
