I am a recent university graduate from The States, currently volunteering in northern Nicaragua for a renewable energy NGO. I studied civil and environmental engineering, as well as Spanish and finally have made it to Central America where I've been putting both of my previous studies to use! I'm very new to couch surfing and am eager to try out this means of travel, especially because I'm on a budget. I am very easy going and always up for new/unique adventures. I also am quite content with simply experiencing new cultures and practicing my Spanish with whoever is patient enough to listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly because I'm on a tight budget but also because I've heard great things from friends and other travelers. It sounds like a great and slightly different way to explore a new town/city.
