My name is Sarah, I am 27 years old and I live in Lyon in France. I'm about to finish my bachelor degree in Applied Foreign Languages and hope now to do a master degree in Teaching French as a Second/Foreign Language. I'm passionate about pedagogy, languages and tavel and I want to combine these three interests by teaching french abroad. I already lived 5 years in Germany and worked for exchange programs in Hamburg: prepared young people from France or other countries before an intership in Germany, for an intercultural experience...and prepare and led exchanges beetween french and german young people from a same professional sector. When I was in high school, I took part myself at a french-german exchange in Berlin for the Karneval der Kulturen and I wanted to make this as a job myself for a time long.
When I got the time, I jump in a train, a plane, a car... I traveled a lot through Europe and I've also been in Tunesia and the United States. This summer, I'll go to South America. My dream is to discover Africa...If only I could teach there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people with whom I can share my passion of travel, discover a place behind the eyes of somebody who actually lives in the place I want to couch surf, including unusual, secret or alternative places, discover how people live at a certain place... in another words, travel for real!
travel around the world, but also through books, music, arts and movies. I also started to learn how to play guitar this year.
