Basically... I'm a single woman in my 30s and I finally had that epiphany where I realized.... No one is ever going to travel with me. Because everyone my age is married and has kids. Or is not into travel. Or is just plain boring. So I'm finally getting my head out of my ass and doing it alone. Hoping to come out of my shell a bit and meet some interesting new people in the process.
I'm unapologetically tomboy. I've given up on "growing out of it" at this point. I'm honest to the point of being blunt. I'm one of those rare people who can be relied upon to always be honest. If I'm saying it... It's true. No games. I come off as a very serious person I think, but I really am a big goofy mess of random shit inside. I want to laugh at all times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make myself meet new people. It's hard for me. I'm quite socially inept around strangers. Get me drunk and I'm a blast.
Starting out, I'm looking to meet new people on short trips here and there. In a year or two I plan on doing some international travel and hopefully surfing through Europe a bit.
Under my cool exterior I'm a giant nerd. I'm into historical buildings. I'm really into food. I have a weak spot for abandoned and/or haunted places. I'm a film/tv nut. I love my dog, Linus, more than any human. I am an INTJ and I identify heavily with it.
I might elaborate more later. Those are the basics.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music.... Pretty much everything but Country.
Movies... Dramas. Thrillers. Classics. I will only watch comedies with other people for some reason.
Books.... INTJs are supposed to love reading. I read like crazy in high school but then I minored in Lit and I think it killed that for me. Lol. I usually fall asleep trying to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How sad... This one is stumping me. I'll come back to it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At this point, I'm hoping to just offer interesting conversation. No small talk. Let's talk about weird, exciting topics.
