To live and work in Kaohsiung as EFL Teachers

ABOUT ME

We have been living in western Canada for the past two years and have done two ski season's back to back. As the snow began to melt we decided that we'd like to move somewhere warmer and somewhere different. We decided we'd go down the TEFL route and move to Kaohsiung, Taiwan and start a new and exciting experience travelling and working in southeast Asia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are both very passionate about travelling, gaining new experiences and meeting fun/down to earth people of a similar nature. I find that much of the travelling experience is the people you meet there and we're two such people that you'll meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

David couch surfed in Vancouver, BC and Kelowna, BC after leaving the UK in 2008.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in the rockies, scuba dived the barrier reef, ski dived, glided, ski in 3 feet of powder snow. lived in germany when the wall came down, lived in hong kong during the handover to china. Many of the most amazing things happen when you're not looking though. Just having a great time with a group of good friends in some remote place when the sun is setting is a fine example of the most amazing experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

speak german. could teach you to ski/snowboard but not much snow in kaohsiung, haha. Can give you free guitar lessons? Been playing for 14 yrs. Could teach you english as a foreign language? =)
