About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid-back, neat/clean, and relatively quiet. I like interesting conversation, new cultures and traveling, but I feel like that pretty much applies to anyone who couch-surfs. I'm a non-smoker, I have no problem with pets, and I like to laugh.

Interests

I was working in finance when I decided that life should simply be less stressful and more fun... so I packed up and moved to the Czech Republic where I found a job teaching English. So far, I'm loving living in a new place and exploring. I spend a lot of my time wandering little side streets, soaking in the history, in the beer gardens with friends, and just relaxing and reading in the park. I'm also enjoying the cultural scene in Prague with tons of live concerts and little festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I spent 10 days in Montpellier, France. I had gotten some ice cream and was just wandering around through little alley ways enjoying the warmth and scenery when I stumbled across this gorgeous street. It was the light tan stone that is everyone in that area of France and the sun was hitting it just right so it looked gold. There was plants hanging everywhere and a perfect fountain in a little square down the way. I was eating my ice cream and soaking in the sun and life was so relaxing and happy and simple that I never wanted to leave.

The night life in Prague has also left me awestruck. While I've gone out in Europe before, things here just never slow down and I'm loving it. The clubs are packed, drinks are cheap, and people are so friendly... everyone wants to talk about their travels or the city and while it's not 1 instant, I've loved dancing with friends, taking a break to meet people and make new friends and alternation between the two.
