About Me

see what there is to see, learn from it, have fun meanwhile

I love to travel and all that you can learn from it. I'm really curious and I enjoy meeting new people and reading new books, listening to new music.

I think its pretty obvious that I enjoy learning. I think that by reaching a better understanding of what surrounds you, you get happier. I do think that the saying 'Don't do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you' works in the other way and I try to do my best to help people as much as I would want them to help me if I needed. It really holds in these two sentences, i try to understand the world in order to be happy in it, and i try to help others in order for them to be happy too. I juste try to find the best balance between everything, evolving each day.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I've hosted a lot of friends this year, seems like everybody is always passing by Paris! I enjoyed helping them to get around the city, and to help out whent they were in trouble

During all the trips I did in Europe this year I managed to be hosted by friends or friends of friends, and it always was really great, lots of fun.

Litterature (obviously)
Visual Arts (especially a performance, i do prefer the fact that in a performance the artist occupy the space and therefore obligate us to watch not only with our eyes but with our whole body)
Walking, even more since i'm in Paris and there is so much to see

Music, Movies & Books

I loved Cendrillon by Eric Reinhardt, which is a book where a man explores all the different ways his life could have been without his wife. It sounds a little bit cheesy but its really eclectic and nicely done.
I really loved The Fall by Tarsem Singh for the adult fairy tale taste to it.
My favorite band might be Blue Giant, i listen to a lot of folk and almost as much hip hop, rap, etc. I listen to quite different kinds of music, it changes with my moods, like anybody else, i presume.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

It's going to sound cheesy but I was really amazed by the Alps when i went there this year. The different layers of light and the grace of the moutains, which should still basically be blocks of rocks. Everything was so beautiful that I just stood there looking at it for hours.

Countries I've Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Canada, France
