Hi there! I'm Sarah, from Chicago. I enjoy traveling, food & beverage, and exploring the world. I'm currently working as a booking assistant for a travel agent, but have also spent time in restaurant management, nonprofit fundraising, Swedish translation and copyediting, and electrical contracting. I cherish my family and friends and have just as much fun on a family vacation to Walt Disney World as I do solo travel on the other side of the world.

I love languages - I've studied 9 so far and am always looking to learn more. I admittedly don't know a lot about pop culture; I'd rather read travel blogs and watch documentaries. History, culture, traditions, cooking, reading, writing, walking, people watching - those are my kind of activities.

I worked as an electrical apprentice for over 5 years, an industry where less than 1% is female. Not only did I learn a pretty nifty trade, I became more aware of what I am capable of - and how to not let fear get in the way.
