About Me

Nice to meet you! My name is Sarah, I'm 25 and I study political science and cultural studies.
I've been living in Bremen a good 10 years now so I know this place pretty well. So if you don't, just hit my mailbox, I'm more than happy to show you around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great combination of meeting people and staying somewhere and not having to pay for it. Needless to say, I do enjoy meeting new people a lot more.
I got to know great hostility when I was away so I want to give something back in return.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
That's tough! Let's start off with what I don't like. I do not enjoy hard rock or heavy metal or whatever else there is in this direction. It's just not my thing.
Basically anything else I'm fine with and I don't really care what other people listen to, you can't really judge someone on the type of music they like. However, if you listen to Justin Bieber, please do not contact me. I'm serious.
What I DO find myself listen to a lot lately, mostly when I'm drunk or getting there, is the 90's. I mean, really, "What is Love" (Haddaway) is just awesome (in a very weird way).

Movies:
Okay, here's just a few that come to my mind right now:
-A beautiful mind
-Matrix Trilogy
-Fight Club
-Lucky N° Slevin
-Beyond Silence
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
-Memento
-Nymphomaniac
-Inception
-Shutter Island
-Blue Jasmine

Books:
SO many. So many. If I had to pick just a single one, it would be
"The unbereable lightness of being" (Kundera)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning to dive was pretty spectacular to me. Oh and also this one time when I got kicked out of the bus at 2am in the morning in the middle of literally nowhere in Laos.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really get what this field is for. Anyway.
TEACH
I can teach you basic yoga stuff. Also, I'm a sailing instructor so I could teach you how to sail but that would include time and money, both of which most backpackers do not have. Thought I'd mention it anyway. I can also teach you how to spell your name in (german) sign language.

LEARN
I'd love to learn some basic salsa or tango moves!

SHARE
I like to share a good laugh with people :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Laos, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam
