About Me

CURRENT MISSION

try not to take so seriously CS's instructions in the matter of being detailed in my profile

ABOUT ME

I'm a mess so that I don't really know what to tell about me..
but, as a friend told me once, I'm a curious hedonist that's trying to reach freedom..
and I don't want to spoil your fun translating this cryptic comment....

PHILOSOPHY

First, I belive in respect, it's sacrosanct for me! I'm a very peaceful and friendly person, ready to learn from every adventure and from daily life. I believe that every experience and every person has something to give you, and that's why I'm so curious.
But all of this doesn't mean that I'm an obtuse optimistic....
I try to be more open minded as I can and to understand different beliefs and ways of thinking, but I also have my own ideas and convinctions, and as a "true" Sardinian I'm really stubborn.
I don't belive in any kind of God, either the spiritual ones, or the material ones (like power and money etc.)
I belive in freedom, but I also belive that nobody could reach it, because..well..this is really too long to explain....
and finally, I was born in the wrong time: I should have been born in the '60s!!

Music, Movies, and Books

my favourite MOVIES are Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain for its poetry and the imaginative plot; Almost Famous 'cause like I wrote before, I should have been born in that period; Matrix for its philosophy, the great action scenes, and well, Keanu Reeves of course....

for MUSIC, I have a huge range to wander around, from Rock that's my true love, to techno, from blues to Franz Liszt; Sarah Vaughan to dubstep, Iron Maiden to Fabrizio de Andrè....Janis Joplin for her voice, for the way she lived, 'cause she's my heroine!! and Led Zeppelin of course: after more than 10 years I can still listen to the same songs and shakin' in pleasure; probably cause I used to sing for loads of years I'm very interested in every single original good female voice that I can find

for BOOKS I'm just writing some random names: Emily Dickinson, that's the queen of my readings; John Keats; Esenin; Giacomo Leopardi; Dante Alighieri; Jane Austen; Euripide; Andrè Gide; Cesare Pavese, Simona Vinci; Platone; Machiavelli; Andrea Pazienza (comics); Nietzsche; G.B.Shaw; Virginia Woolf; Kafka; T.S.Eliot; Andrea De Carlo; Bukowsky; Wilde; Joyce; Baudelaire; Shakespeare; Pirandello; Schopenheuer; D.H.Lawrence; Kerouac; Orwell; Jim Morrison; Sartre; Sibilla Aleramo; Sylvia Plath; Ginsberg ETC. ETC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The concert of Joan Baez in Genoa with a friend;
seeing the dawn at 5.37am in Galway (Ireland): AMAZING!
