Interests

I have many different interests, but, probably, the main - classical music. I visit a lot of concerts and operas in Moscow. I like different kinds of music, but the most important and favorite for me has always been Dmitri Shostakovich and other Russian composers of the twentieth century (but not only!). Concert halls and opera - my first item when I visiting other cities.

Except music, I wonder cinema, literature, art, politics, cooking and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lars von Trier, Kira Muratova, Ingmar Bergman, Wings of Desire, Cabaret, 8 1/2, All the songs only about love, Ghost World, 8 women, Frances Ha and many others. Try to look very different movie, not only classic and serious films. Sometimes I like to watch blockbasters.

Music: Dmitri Shostakovich, Igor Stravinsky, Gustav Mahler, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Richard Wagner and others. Mostly classical music, but sometimes like to listen to pop or rock.

Books: Leo Tolstoy, Albert Camus, Leonid Andreev, Vladimir Sorokin and others. I read more Russian writers, but sometimes with pleasure discovering foreign literature. I regret that my language level does not allow to read foreign classics in the original.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very inquisitive and always happy to learn something new. And I think I can tell you a lot about Russia and also about classical music (especially - Dmitry Shostakovich).
