ABOUT ME

I am a little bit wacky, my friends would describe me as the cute, geeky, creative one. I have moments of genius and moments of stupidity but I am never dull!!

I live in the moment, I have big dreams and believe that the most important things in life are people, food and the arts.

I am currently perfecting the art of being a student - studying flute and composition and am intending on doing a visual arts degree. I have three part time jobs - teaching flute, working in a deli making coffees and discussing fabulous cheeses and working in an office type job packaging up thousands of earrings (which is extremely tedious and is my incentive to do something more worthwhile with my life). Every penny I save is going towards traveling to exciting places!

Eating, music, painting, cooking (I really do love food), picking flowers, art galleries, coffee tea and fabulous wine, theater, opera, fishing, running, discussing the meaning of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies
All my friends say I have a terrible taste in movies. That is because I like things that make me think (which usually turn out to be horribly depressing) like: The Lives of Others, Life is Beautiful, The Pianist, Forrest Gump. I do like some happy 'feel good' movies too.

Music
I love any kind of music (as long as it is good!!!). From Porcupine Tree, Ryan Adams, Debussy, live jazz, Musical theatre (especially West Side Story), Stravinsky...the list could go on for pages...

Books
Ian McEwan. I love reading but I just can't think of writers I am in love with off the top of my head at the moment.
