I’m lucky to be living and working in Turkey for the past two years, and traveling to visit friends and family nearby. Highlights from 2022: Dalyan, Marmaris, Alaçatı, Ölüdeniz, Foça, Tunis, Sousse, Bizerte. 2023: Plovdiv, Haskova, Urla, Copenhagen, Helsingor (and Helsingborg too), Cambridge, Norwich, and the Norfolk English countryside. Plans for 2024 *fingers crossed*: Riga, Vilnius, Erbil, Tbilisi, Diyarbakir, Urfa, Antep. I help run a weekly meetup for expats from all over the world living in Istanbul as well as travelers -- come join us on Fridays at Motto pub in Kadıköy! Additionally semi active within Alsancak groups in Izmir.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some of the best journeys I’ve had recently have been on the road: driving down the Aegean coast to visit secluded beaches (in the car of my Couchsurfing friend I met whilst karaoking three days prior to the trip!), or doing a last-minute border-crossing trek over to Bulgaria. My next dream road trip: going along the Black Sea via Sinop, Samsun, Ordu, Trabzon, Rize, and onto Georgia.
