These are tips from my Nana, who taught be to sew, can't remember when we began, but I was tiny. We were very close, I lived with her for the last 5 years of her life. At that time I was a model and had to look like the famous designers I wore at fashion shows and in print and on TV. So we copied!! I was on the cover of WWD--and the caption stated,"She copied YSL"--actually I bought the pattern, it was a beautiful tapestry jacket, silk blouse and Pants!! mid 60's, ladies did not wear pants.
