Live by a beach and making a difference in others' lives....
I am a running, yoga, half vegetarian, driven girl on a mission to make a difference wherever I am. I want to see the world not just by traveling, but by living in different ways and meeting all kinds of people. I love to laugh, feel and be healthy, try new things, adventure, languages (especially Spanish!), friends/family, capture moments with photos, journal, and keep learning. About anything whether it is a new dish, a new yoga move, or a new place to travel to, learning and relationships are key to living life to its fullest.
Do things that make you happy whether its travel, buying a home, a job, or a cup of coffee. I feel called to be and travel in other countries- that's what makes me feel alive the most.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have not had any experience thus far, but I am excited to try it! I have heard only great things through friends who have done it, and cannot wait to see what it's like. Oh, and I want to try the REAL kind of surfing as well=)
SO MUCH! Running, golf, yoga, the beach, photography, reading, healthy foods, coffee, dancing, movies, playing cards/games, teaching, bowling, trying new things, languages, Spanish, traveling, experiencing new cultures, journaling/blogging, meeting new people, deep friendships, family, musicals, laughing, enjoying life to its fullest.
Music, Movies, and Books
LOTS!!! So so many!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran the Great Wall Half Marathon in Beijing China last May (2009). It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and a personal goal that I reached. I had never seen the Great Wall before, and to do something like that was surreal. I will never regret that and will never forget that feeling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Something to remember: everyday it is important to do something for yourself that makes you feel good. Whether it's a good cup of coffee, 15 minutes of alone time, yoga, or writing a card to someone special, it makes the day seem wonderful and accomplished. If anything, I have learned that it's the small things that matter the most. And the people you surround yourself with.
