ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm honest and reliable, and a decent guy. I'm from the north of england - Sheffield, but seem to have lost my accent after years of living in the South of england. I have been told I sound australian?! I moved to Oman 4 months ago, its a long story how I ended up here.. but my brother is here as well. I build websites, but business is slow in Oman, so much so that the casual observer might think I dont work at all :)
I want to meet new people and have a laugh and share experiences, and have new ones.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people how you would like to be treated. I want to do my best to live like this. I also want to try 100% in everything I do.. then if something doesn't work out I can walk away with no regrets.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never couchsurfed before other than staying with friends of friends in various places. I have a friend who has more experience of this though and put me onto this site. So here we go..

Centres d'intérêt

Ive got lots of varied interests, some that I actively take part in more than others - basically im up for trying anything the once - if i like it ill have another go! I like to snowboard, wakeboard, I was learning to kitesurf but a near drowning experience put me off a little, so now I fly powerkites on the land instead. A simple walk is a pleasure, as is any form of travel. I was on a boat yesterday and the guy driving was going way too fast. We all got soaked, and based about - so many people complained.. but i thought it was great fun :) Relaxing with a book or watching a good film with a friend is also a great way to pass the time. I guess I'm interested in the internet as its part of my job as well.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'll watch or read anything. You only know if you like it after its finnished. Movies are best shared I think.. I could never go to the cinema alone.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I dunno. I think the thing i rave about a lot is parachuting. You jump out of the plane into an 80mph wind created by the plane moving forawrds, as you fall and loose forward speed the wind direction changes to just from below. If you dive out of the back of the plane you can slide down the wind - like going headfirst down a gaint slide! Probably the most amazing feeling I know!
