About Me

Change my perception of the world and life in general.

Being born human this time I was raised in a very small village in northern Germany by a loving family in a three-generational household. I had a beautiful childhood in the bosoms of dear nature discovering new lifeforms every day and examining them in my own little "laboratory". When other children wanted to play football or hide and seek I'd rather go and pick some flowers or look at a bug through my magnifying glass.
Things got more complicated then when people started to expect certain things of me. At school I wasn't too successful or at least not at the Gymnasium. I made it through every test but only with as much effort it would possibly take not to fail. It wasn't because I was too dumb, of that I'm pretty sure. But because that I couldn't understand why I should jump through every one of their rings when that only taught me jumping and nothing else. But now the time that was unthinkable to ever be over IS over and I want to regain my old curiosity towards life that meanwhile got lost in all the homework. I want to breathe in again and love the feeling of my lungs being widened and to open my eyes and see a world that offers many but one path I could go and follow. And a world where everyone is driven by his inmost intentions and not trots along the big shabby street of growth and prosperity.

I'm still looking for an absolute doctrine to live by but I'm totally aware of the beautiful records of wisdom from buddhism and several philosophers of the 19th century such as Nietzsche and Marx.

I've read so many great sentences in the profiles of other couchsurfers and although I'm not sure how to name it I absolutely agree with the whole idea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I finally made it and moved out of my parent's house. Living in a small flat in Lübeck now, where guests are always welcome.

I definitely could get addicted to travelling via couchsurfing. It changes the rules so much and this platform really gives me new inner hope for humanity... somehow.
