To experience life, and the world, to the best of my capabilities (with others' help and guidance, of course), and learn from each and every experience (good and bad) that I have the fortune to undertake.

ABOUT ME

Adventurous. Always down to try something new. I try to stay as active as I can, and love the outdoors (thrive on it really). I attempt to travel whenever I can, and have loved exploring new places. Otherwise, I'm stuck in the 8-5 rut until I'm able to break away :) I have two wonderful puppy dogs who are my world (I'm that crazy dog lady...). Always up for talking with new folks, so message me if you'd like to know more :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only been able to host people so far. But I am interested in traveling more and meeting new people, as soon as I get the time to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some really amazing travelers pass through. It's always a great experience hearing where people come from, and where they plan to go (in their travels and in life).

Interests

Puppy dogs, music, good weather days, chocolate milk, beer with good company, a small act by a stranger that just makes your day, being outdoors, being active, adrenalin rushes (whew!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost any and all music (mostly dependent on my mood). Movies - anything different from the Hollywood regurgitations. Books - I have my nerd books that I enjoy (philosophy, Civil War), Harry Potter (of course), several classics (you know, the ones they make you read in High School..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past year in particular has been awesome! I've had several "firsts". This past year, I've: went snow skiing for the first time, went to my first Mardi Gras in NOLA, first Bonnaroo!, first cruise, skydiving, hang-gliding, got SCUBA certified.

The biggest trip that I've done so far was to France when I was in high school - that was super! Wanna go back - badly. Hang-gliding was spectacular as well. those dreams you have of flying, that's exactly what it feels like. So much fun! and beautiful!
