ABOUT ME

I'm a photographer by nature and really don't know how else to live. The past has had me working for myself and spending well over three months on the road. Nothing brings me more joy than taking photos of people.

I enjoy good coffee and good chocolate, having been around those communities for the last four years. I've been a vegetarian for the last three years as well.

Overall I'm pretty calm and collected. I'm not one to go out and party (I don't drink) or do anything foolish. I much prefer to sit with someone over tea and chat.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to help and serve people. Nothing brings me more peace than volunteering and helping others. Profanities bug me when they don't make sense in the context. And I always leave the seat down when I'm done.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been doing this the hard way without the site for a number of years. I've crashed on couches in Colorado, Minneapolis, Michigan, and others. mostly I've stayed with friends, friends' friends, and other family.

Music, Movies, and Books

Loving some punk rock 'n roll lately. Movies? Not so much, I don't watch movies. Reading "The Prince" by Machiavelli

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travled for six weeks straight. Spent three weeks volunteering at music and art festivals. Won some art contests too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach photography - film, digital, lighting theory, and whatnot. Some basic cooking, amongst other trade crafts. I'm terrible with electrical, plumbing, and other utility related things. Not that bad of an auto mechanic when I have the tools.

I want to learn about people. So many people have good stories that others will never know, and I want to hear what they have to say. Right now I'm working on a book that is entirely head shots of people I've met over the last year.
