Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I go some where I want to be a traveler, not a tourist. I figure the best way to do that is meet people and attempt to immerse myself in their culture. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Interessen

I love everything to do with the outdoors. Camping, hiking, biking, everything.
I also love to sail. Growing up a quarter mile for a Great Lake has encourage this love.

I'm open to all types of music. There isn't a genre that I outright hate and I'm willing to listen to anything at least once.

I will read just about anything as well, however I'm partial to fantasy and historical non-fiction.

I served as a crew member on a traditionally rigged sailing vessel for a month. I sailed along the Atlantic coast of the US stopping at several ports along the way.
