College student at the University of Tennessee at Martin who enjoys the gym, sports, and traveling as much as I can! I'd say I am an irony: I am introvert at heart, but can flip the switch at any given second and become an extremely social extrovert. Id say I pretty much ooze energy and positivity, so 99% of the time my mindset is "go".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since graduating high school and moving on to college, where I have met many people from different places who are all so different, it really gave me the travel bug. I love seeing new places and meeting new friends, so couch surfing seems like the ideal way to do that. I find it absolutely amazing that we can all use a website to accept and be accepted into someone's home who we have never met, and dive straight into their own lifestyle. I believe it is more than finding a place to sleep just because you happen to be in that city, it is about MEETING and CONNECTING with like-minded, or not so like-minded people, and enjoying each other's company and perspective. As I am still getting my feet wet with couchsurfing, it has already blown my mind at the amount of generosity I've seen.

Interests

I love baseball, basketball, football, and golf. I love outdoor activities (hiking, camping, kayaking, etc), lifting weights, and running Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch much TV, but I do enjoy comedies and actions when I can. I like almost any genre of music except techno and hard rock (screamo type). I enjoy reading most books, but tend to steer away from history related ones.

I am determined to wrestle an alligator or crocodile. I have come close many times, but haven't quite had the perfect opportunity.

I am currently in school for an Exercise and Sports Science degree, so anything related to that. I'm not too great of a cook, but I can make a mean steak.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An unreal sense of humor, wit, and overall positive energy and attitude. With so much energy, I probably wouldn't mind taking care of your daily tasks that get boring after a while (dishes, housecleaning, etc).
