I'm a recent university graduate that enjoys experiencing and exploring new cultures. Having to spent most of my earlier years in an eastern country, the cultural shock was real when I first moved to Canada. However, that also inspired me to learn from different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to explore a new destination is through conversations and interactions with locals. I want to live like a local when I travel and couchsurfing offers just that - a simple but very real experience in a brand new place. Additionally, as a single gay man exploring unfamiliar ground, how is one to know where's the new "it" place on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon if not through the word of mouth of a local resident?
