I love the outdoors and want to spend as much time traveling as possible. In 2008, I biked from Minneapolis, MN to the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan with my older sister Betsey. That was my first bike trip and I've been hungry for more ever since, but life happened and I started a small production company in my hometown of Petoskey. I've been a photographer/cinematographer for almost 7 years now and it's my passion. I recently released my first feature film and it's playing in theaters around Michigan. I also love music, snowboarding, camping, craft beer, biking, fishing and the list goes on. I am also the proud leader of "Adventure Club"... where I basically take my little nieces and nephews on all sorts of great adventures around Northern Michigan ;) I love my family very much and I refuse to "grow up!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of traveling on a budget and also getting to meet some nice folks along the way, as well as getting some good insider info on routes, places of interest, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Convinced my folks, sister & brother-in-law and their five kids to skip their disney trip and rent a 12 passenger van to head west in search of Forrest Fenn's treasure. Along the way, I got to show them the Rocky Mountains, hike in Moab, UT, touch four states at one time at the Four Corners Monument and finally search for the treasure for five days north of Santa Fe, NM. On our last day of the trip, we coincidentally met Adam Sandler in the morning at the Tesuque Village Market, went hunting for treasure all day, then ran into Forrest Fenn himself at the Market when we were done. The coincidence was nothing short of amazing and he made our trip complete. Meeting Forrest was the treasure for us! :)
