ABOUT ME

I like traveling and exploring new cities and especially new cultures. I'm somewhat of a culture buff and recently took an anthropology class at my local community college. I love music, especially the blues, and I also love jazz and rock n roll- anything played with feeling. I play the guitar. I used to live in South America for work and last year I married a girl from Colombia, and we now live in California. I had a job where I was a business development manager for Latin America and through this job I visited 13 different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet cool people and get the flavor and essence of a city instead of a boring, sanitized version that you get in hotels. I like some time to wander around alone but also hang out and drink some beers and go out on the town.
