ABOUT ME

Just another random 20-something east-coaster checking out the west coast for a couple years while I work off my Army contract.

I love high adventure outdoor activities as well as video games, drinking and movies, so its a relaxed lifestyle with several injections of craziness. More to come later.

PHILOSOPHY

Pay it forward. You don't always need repay someone's favor, but the best thing you can do is repay the courtesy to who you can, when you can and eventually it will make its way around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live by myself in a 3 bedroom house around Fort Bragg. I have an extra room, a living room couch, and an office. The guest rooms have a bathroom apart from my own so it's a pretty sweet deal. If you happen to be passing through Fayetteville or you're looking for a free place to stay while you look for home if you're getting stationed here, then just say hi and we'll work something out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first drove from NYC to Washington, my ex-girlfriend who was living with me, flew ahead and got a room with an amazing family for a few days. We stayed there until we found an apartment and Ive been interested in offering the same thing ever since.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Ive driven across the northern half of the United States 4 different times, trying to take slightly different routes each time. On the way saw purple and golden sulfur hills in South Dakota, watched a sunset over the rock mountains driving across Montana, and drove through a zero visibility snowstorm in Wyoming in June. All on the same trip :D

If there's one thing I have learned since joining the military, it's how little most people actually know about how it works, due to outdated war knowledge, Hollywood, etc. It's taught me a lot and I am always happy to discuss.
